My artwork is an expression of emotions and feelings at particular moments in my life, and not even necessarily about the subject itself but rather the mood, emotion, and beauty I’m experiencing through the subject. It speaks of finding quiet spaces away from all the social and political noise, which is necessary to maintain our own peace, refresh our souls, and open our hearts to hear our own true self in order to contribute and be a strong, sound, voice out in the world.
Living on the coast of Southern California plays a substantial role in my visual work, providing plenty of creative inspiration which is translated through the use of various mediums, but my ultimate goal is that the viewer will connect with the finished piece in a personal way.
My culture and beliefs shape my work and the essence of who I am is left on every piece. And, as with every living thing our Creator has made, there is always continuous growth and transformation…..you’ll see mine happening through my art.
